Fair pricing. Good communication. Great customer service. Jarred was a total hero! I’m sure locksmiths hear their share of sob stories, but nothing adds to the stress of a broken key fob and vehicle trapped in airport parking then the fear of an outrageous bill. I called eighteen locksmiths in the Portland area. Most vaguely quoted me a range of what it could cost up to three times what Alohamora charged. Some locksmiths didn’t have the software to program an our specific vehicle. Another locksmith stood us up after waiting several hours… it was such a headache. Alohamora got back to me quickly via text, providing me a reasonable quote as well as clear communication around scheduling. When Jarred met me at the airport parking lot he was professional, efficient, and kind. I know It doesn’t seem like kindness should matter much, but when you’re a single car family, pacing with your infant desperate to figure out if your car is going to work again—it was comforting to feel like Jarred really cared. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Derek came out to install a deadbolt but offered a better solution. He installed a new door handle with a locking/deadbolt, made an extra key cleaned up and even fixed the doorknob on my bathroom door. He was very nice and professional. I had three doors at my new house that needed new locks, plus adding a number pad lock to my front door. The locksmith arrived that afternoon and did a great job installing the locks. Exceptional Service – More Than Just a Locksmith! I genuinely wish there were more stars to give, but five is the limit! My wife found herself in an incredibly stressful situation when our little two-year-old accidentally locked himself in our master bedroom—key inside, door childproofed, and no way to open it from either side. Unfortunately, I wasn’t home to help, which made it even more overwhelming for her. I quickly searched on Google and came across Alohamore. From the moment I called and explained the predicament, Derek responded more like a rescue firefighter than a locksmith. Best locksmith service, very professional and respectful phone agents, worked with me on timing that fits my schedule, did a wonderful job at giving me the correct and informal information I needed, also with explaining all my opinions and what they could do to help assist me in getting back into my vehicle. I am not one to normally leave a review and when I do I hate that for a base good review it needs to be 5 stars. 3 is average if everything is 5 there is no room for improvement or to complement or reward someone for going above and beyond, which I wan doing right now. Derek C went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I am a Disabled Vet and suffer for Diabetes with needed insulin locked inside and was locked out of my Condo and because I had tried 2 other locksmith services prior and had been waiting over a hour after repeated calls to the dispatchers and saying I needed my insulin for a technician to call me back. This was Tuesday I am still waiting on one of them to call. Derek C called me with in 5 minutes of contacting the dispatcher. he said he was about 30 minutes out but got there in under 20 minutes and was prompt in opening the door. I am 100% disable and on a very tight fixed income and Derek C was very willing to work with me on the price and a payment plan in addition to the companies Veteran discount with is always appreciated. For these reason I am writing this review and giving Derek and his company 5 star, He has earned it and I am a Alohomora customer for life. Not only do i recommend this company to you I well and have recommended it to family and friends.

These people are the best! Anyone who has been locked out has a story of inconvenience and frustration. I went to Google and read thru reviews of other locksmiths not wanting to add insult to injury. When I called I was offered an estimate complete with a heads-up on the service fee, all of which were super reasonable, and the freedom to choose the two-hour window that worked best for me. Christina called to let me know she would be available sooner if that worked for me. She was prompt, courteous, professional, and fast. She saved my day and helped me brush off the negative vibes. Incredibly grateful!!

I purchased a used EV, but the previous owner only had one key & fob. I found out that if I lost that one key, it would be very difficult and expensive to replace it. They did a great job and I now have two keys, yay!. I also had a question about my garage door opener that was having problems, and they checked it, and adjusted it so it would work better, and didn't even charge me for that. And the worker was friendly and always told me what he was doing. Perfect!
