I had three doors at my new house that needed new locks, plus adding a number pad lock to my front door. The locksmith arrived that afternoon and did a great job installing the locks. He was friendly and helpful, making sure I understood how to program the number pad lock. I would recommend Alohomora Locksmith for their prompt response and quality work. Plus, you gotta love the name!

Fair pricing. Good communication. Great customer service. Jarred was a total hero! I’m sure locksmiths hear their share of sob stories, but nothing adds to the stress of a broken key fob and vehicle trapped in airport parking then the fear of an outrageous bill. I called eighteen locksmiths in the Portland area. Most vaguely quoted me a range of what it could cost up to three times what Alohamora charged. Some locksmiths didn’t have the software to program an our specific vehicle. Another locksmith stood us up after waiting several hours… it was such a headache. Alohamora got back to me quickly via text, providing me a reasonable quote as well as clear communication around scheduling. When Jarred met me at the airport parking lot he was professional, efficient, and kind. I know It doesn’t seem like kindness should matter much, but when you’re a single car family, pacing with your infant desperate to figure out if your car is going to work again—it was comforting to feel like Jarred really cared. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Derek came out to install a deadbolt but offered a better solution. He installed a new door handle with a locking/deadbolt, made an extra key cleaned up and even fixed the doorknob on my bathroom door. He was very nice and professional. I needed all my exterior locks re-keyed on five doors. The company responded promptly when I first contacted them via the website, and had time available within days. They were great at letting me know my technician had been delayed and gave me the option of rescheduling, which wasn’t necessary because I had time to wait. Alan, the technician was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Since I didn’t have keys for all the locks—some he was able to pick and re-key, but a couple had to be replaced. He was up-front about all pricing. Excellent work all around. Respectful and professional. I will not hesitate to use this company again or refer others to them. Service so good, you’ll feel like it’s magic. 😉

Roman was able to come right out the same day I called. He cut new keys and programmed the keys and a new replacement transponder for my car. He was fast and professional and the fee was exactly what they quoted me on the phone. I would recommend!

I am someone who gives extremely rare 5 star reviews. I believe that a business is not measured by how great their customer service is when they are trying to get your as a customer because that would be the honeymoon stage and everything is rosy and bright. A true measure of a company's customer service is when they already completed their service, they got your money and something happens down the line that allows them to put their guarantee to the test. This is what happened to this installation. Sam is my go to guy, if I were to put a review from the intial installation I would have put 4.5 stars because there were some hiccups along the way which didnt make the whole process seamless. Fast forward a year when the lock that was installed got stuck. I immediately called Sam and he sent Cody A who cam within a couple of hours and really spent the time to troubleshoot the issue. If this were just another tech, they probably would have said we need to replace this and that and do this and that. The initial finding was a replacement of one part which was not replaced the last time. Sam was going to give me a 50% discount on the part and the labor will be included since this was the same issue but on a different part within the same door. I asked Cody a lot of questions and our conversation made him test a few things. He found a flaw in the initial installation as well as the key. This ended up saving me money because of the extra effort he put into finding root causes of the issue instead of the easy way that most techs do which is REPLACE. I am very impressed with Cody and it is because of him that this establishment gets a full 5 stars from me. I have a hard time trusting businesses these days but this place has earned my full trust. I highly recommend this place especially Cody A. I have bookmarked this business as my primary locksmith.

Jared could not find a door to open as there were chain locks on all the doors but one except that it had a stuck latch with no lock-he was able to take out (and Not break) a small window in the door-brilliant -the guy never gave up!!!!!!

I had a broken off key stuck in the front door. Turns out the lock was pretty well shot. Derek fixed me up with a new lock and even re-keyed the new lock to my existing keys. He really bailed me out of a jam. Thanks again, Derek.
